I’m a grateful wife and mom of two strong-willed, beautiful girls, ages 4 and 7. As a seasoned photographer with over 13 years of experience, I specialize in capturing light, laughter, and the occasional meltdown—sometimes mine, sometimes theirs.

Rooted in Camden, N.C., I’ve set up a cozy studio in downtown Elizabeth City, N.C. ((HAPPY 1st YEAR to ME!)), serving families throughout the surrounding area.

At Kayla Norfleet Photography, I’ve crafted my images around one pure idea: real life is worth remembering and celebrating exactly as it is. This isn't about stiff, perfectly posed images, but rather the slightly wild and unfiltered moments—the side-eye your toddler gives, the way your child hugs you like they haven’t seen you in five minutes, and those fleeting moments in between "say cheese" and "can we be done?" That’s the good stuff.

As a mom, I completely understand how intense and overwhelming family photos can feel. My goal is to make the experience laid-back, low-pressure, and even fun (yes, fun—even for dads). I know how to adapt to the unpredictable, keep things moving, and somehow make it all look effortless on your end.
